A team from EADA´s International Master in Finance programme has been selected for the final of this year´s CFA Research Challenge competition. 14 Universities and Business Schools across Spain entered this prestigious competition and 5 have been selected to present their project at the Bolsa de Madrid on 6th March. The winners of this local competition will compete at the regional final in Milan on 2nd April.
Teams had to prepare an equity research project during the period November to February. The group were tutored by Ramon Alfonso with important additional input from Joan Tarradellas and always supervised by their programme director Nigel Hayes. The group consists of 5 people from the current Finance programme: Anna Kireeva from Russia, Luca Morra from Italy, Ramon Aranha-Gericke from Germany, Sergi Vilanova from Spain, and Marco Sbalchiero from Switzerland.
On Thursday in Madrid the team will be competing against representatives from IE, ESADE, Carlos III and CIFF. The winning team will be announced at the prize awards at the Bolsa de Madrid on the same day at 20.15.
