CENTRUM Católica, the business school of the Pontificia Universidad Católica of Peru, is one of the country’s leading universities with over 90 years of national and international expertise in education. The University recently celebrated its 15th anniversary, marking the opening of its first campus, Los Álamos de Monterrico en Surco. Today, CENTRUM Católica has campuses in 10 of the most important cities in Peru and is also present in Colombia and Ecuador.
As a strategic partner of this institution in Lima, EADA decided to take part in the anniversary celebration. To this end, a few days ago, David Parcerisas, president of the Board of Trustees of the EADA Foundation, awarded a commemorative plaque plaque to Fernando d’Alessio, the general director of CENTRUM Católica of Peru.
During the ceremony, which was held at the EADA-Residential Training Centre, Mr Parcerisas highlighted what he considers to be the Peruvian business school’s three keys to success: “In the first place, the backing from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Perú, which has enabled CENTRUM Católica to grow with all the freedom needed to stand out in a highly competitive sector. The second factor is the professionalism and commitment of the faculties and the management team, which have played a decisive role in guaranteeing the qualitative and quantitative growth of the institution. And lastly, Fernando d’Alessio’s leadership and vision that have enabled the institution to attain the global positioning it enjoys today.”
EADA director of programmes Jordi Díaz added, “CENTRUM Católica is the best example of what a strategic partner is for EADA.” He continued, describing the institutions’ comprehensive collaboration as “based on running joint programmes, the presence of both institutions in their governing bodies, professor and student exchanges, joint research projects, common events for our alumni communities and even collaboration on certain corporate programmes.”
