“EADA was one of the best decisions of my life” says MBA participant Isabella Steyer-Mader

The hardest part after deciding to go for a graduate program is deciding where to go. Today, there are so many options, how can we be sure that we are choosing wisely?

I conducted extensive research and contacted all my friends who had completed a graduate programme. One of my close friends did the International Master in Management at EADA last year. Now

she still lives in Barcelona and has a great job; she told me that EADA was one of the best experiences of her life. For me, choosing an MBA programme was also an economic decision, so I had to evaluate my options carefully.

In the admissions interview with EADA MBA director Ella Boniuk, I knew immediately that EADA shared my core values, and this prompted me to visit Barcelona to get to know the school first-hand.

At the time, I was playing volleyball in Berlin in a premiere league, and this motivated me to apply for the EADA Elite Sports Scholarship. I wanted to continue pursuing my passion for volleyball in Barcelona, and was accepted by CVB Barca to play on their second division team. I was also granted the scholarship, which helped me train and study while focusing on my professional and athletic goals.

Now, after a couple of month and thousands of cases, I still think that this was one of the best decisions of my life. The growth I have experienced both professionally and personally is immense. A big part of this growth was due to my classmates and the module in the EADA-Collbató Residential Training Campus.

Our stays in the Campus encouraged me to push my personal boundaries and helped me understand the importance of invaluable leadership skills. For me, the most rewarding aspect of the Campus was the experience with my professors and classmates. Without the days in the Campus, surrounded by the Monserrat Mountains, we would have not become as close as we are now as a team and as friends.

The EADA International MBA has opened my eyes to new cultures, new strengths in myself, new knowledge, confidence and much more and I am excited to see what I am going to experience in the next month including the Final project and the specilisation including the trip to India.
