This week, over 100 EADA participants from the International MBA and International Master programmes networked with recruiters from top employers in the Retail and Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and retail industries at the on-campus recruiting event, the FMCG & Retail Industry Talent Day.
This exclusive Talent Day took place on February 13, when participants from all full time programmes were invited to the Barcelona City Centre Campus to explore the career opportunities offered by the sector’s biggest players.
This year’s FMCG & Retail Industry Talent Day included companies such as Nike, Amazon, Makro, Pepe Jeans and UNIQLO. During the presentations, EADA students learned about the professional opportunities available at each of the attending companies as well as the selection process. Companies also shared innovative corporate strategies, such as Pepe Jeans’ move towards sustainable fashion by employing an eco-revolutionary technology that uses zero chemicals.
The presentations were followed by an informal networking session to build relationships with the corporate representatives, as well as the chance to meet EADA alumni currently employed at the visiting companies. The participation of alumni provides current students with a unique insight into the selection process, the employer expectations and overall company culture.
Talent Days are combined with on and off-campus recruitment events for graduate programmes in the FMCG & Retail industry, with the opportunity to speak with HR representatives as well as EADA alumni. Participating companies this year have included AB InBev, Reckitt Benkiser and PepsiCo.
