What made you want to represent the Consulting Club at EADA?

I’ve heard of Consulting Clubs before and knew immediately that I wanted to be part of EADA’s. It’s a fantastic opportunity to interact with peers from other master’s, gain a huge amount of insights into the industry from the various speakers and further develop my ability to solve business cases.

How does the Consulting Club relate to your career goals?

I want to join a top consulting firm once I graduate from EADA. In the third term of the MiM, I am specialising in consulting, but I know that the Consulting Club will also be key. In the Club, I will be able to attend talks by leaders in the industry, enhance my learning experience and take my knowledge and problem-solving abilities one step further to prepare me for my future career in consulting.

What distinguishes a consultant from a successful consultant is the ability to build strong client relationships, great team working and leadership skills, exceptional communication skills and flexibility.

What do you think are the most important qualities in a successful consultant?

Important qualities for a consultant include the ability to solve complex problems and the ability to analyse large amounts of data and get a succinct takeaway. However, I think what distinguishes a consultant from a successful consultant is the ability to build strong client relationships, great team working and leadership skills, exceptional communication skills and flexibility.

What do you think is the most challenging part of a career in consulting?

I think the most challenging part of a career in consulting is the business acumen you have to bring to the table. I know that what I learn in my master’s at EADA combined with my experience in the Consulting Club will provide me with the best preparation and training to reach my goals in this exciting next step into the industry.
