Studying the International Master in Management can lead you to many opportunities in such different fields. Tiago da Conceiçao, a Master in Management alumnus from Lisbon is nowadays working in Deloitte Consulting, he’s a member of Nova Talent and he has a wide experience in different business fields. We talked to him and asked him some questions about his career and his current job position.

You are a member of Nova Talent, what exactly does that mean?

As the name suggests, Nova is the global and exclusive network that connects the top-3% talents from 72 different countries, with the aim of fostering personal and professional development in a dynamic and inspiring international environment.

This means that Nova recruiters consider that I am a talent within my business area. I advise all EADA students to join this incredible talent community to look for new opportunities.

What does a normal workday look like for you at Deloitte?

My days are never the same because it depends on the project I’m working on. But for the moment I am a Consultant in the team responsible for developing a digital and strategic transformation project for a specialized credit bank, based on three key components: Bank as-is analysis, medium-term strategic positioning in the specialized credit market, incorporating the challenges of the emergence of vehicle automation. Additionally, new forms of mobility (as mobility) and definition of a technology implementation roadmap.

What are you most excited about right now professionally?

As I was recently promoted to acting senior it is a new experience in my professional career, because I have started to manage teams and it is something that has been very challenging, but luckily EADA prepares us for these occasions.

What made you decide to study the International Master in Management at EADA?

The decision to study for the master’s degree at EADA Business School was one of the best decisions I made on a professional and personal level. When I started looking for master’s degrees, I knew to be successful at a professional level I needed a master’s degree that would also develop me at a personal level and take me out of my comfort zone and without a doubt EADA Business School was the right choice.

What was it like coming to live in Barcelona?

Barcelona is an incredible city that in my sincere opinion makes us grow due to the different cultures that we meet throughout the day. The experience of living in Barcelona was incredible, I repeated it without thinking twice.
